These days electricity is a necessity, this is why reliability is our top priority when designing our systems. We build each system with a metal shell that protects the inner components. Our designs go through rigorous testing to ensure it can withstand years and years of use. We make sure that your power system is always ready and working when you need it most.


An Inspired History

…In 2008, our family went camping in California’s redwood forests. Early one evening a nearby camper started up a diesel generator and let it run through the night. The peaceful forest was completely disrupted by the loud rumble and pollution of a traditional generator. We knew there had to be a better way to travel with power without the noise and environmental toxins. Our mission was {and still is} to create a clean, quiet, sustainable generator.



Some energy storage products today are made with lead acid batteries. While they are very inexpensive to make, they have some significant drawbacks. The foundation of every Humless Power series product is Lithium LiFe. Lithium LiFe is our answer to outdated battery solutions like lead acid and lithium ion. Lithium LiFe is lithium iron phosopate, which many are calling the next generation of lithium batteries: 4x longer life cycle, ⅓ the mass & weight, safer, holds charge while neglected, no charge memory.

Where did the name Humless come from?

Loud generators are the inspiration for creating a quiet alternative. Humless refers to how quiet our generators are.

Can this system run my entire house?

How does it store the energy?

The LiFePO4 batteries store energy by opposing electrons inside the battery. These Lithium Ion batteries are the same composition that you typically find in electric cars and busses.

Is it EMP proof?

Humless devices are not EMP proof but can be with the addition of a faraday cage or EMP bag.

Do you sell across the United States?

Yes, anywhere in the US as well as internationally.

What kind of battery does it use?

All Humless batteries are LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate). LiFePO4 batteries do don’t have fire hazards like other lithium batteries, are non-toxic, and have 4x the charge cycle capacity of lead acid batteries, and up to 3x the charge capacity of other lithium batteries.

How long does it take to charge through the wall?

Varies by product (battery size & charge controller size). Each products data sheet will have the answer.

How durable are your products?

Everything at Humless is designed with reliability in mind. Our power systems have all gone through rigorous testing to ensure they exceed expectations. Each system is built with a tough metal shell to keep everything protected.

How long does it take to charge through the wall?

This will vary by product (battery size & charge controller size). For example using a standard 110 V outlet the 1500 series 1.3KWH will take about 3-4 hours to charge and the Off-Grid Series 12 KWH will take about 8-9 hours to charge. Check each products data sheet for more details.

How does the system charge?

Charges with Either/Both AC & DC. AC sources can be the grid/wall or another generator or wind. DC sources can be solar, wind, hydro, mechanical cranks, etc

How long does it last?

This will vary by product. For example, the 1500 Series has a life of 2,500 cycles (around 6+ years of daily use), while the Off-Grid Series has a life of 3,500 cycles (around 9+ years of daily use).

How long will it run my refrigerator?

This will vary depending on the size of the battery and how much power your fridge needs to operate. (We also suggest keeping the door closed as much as possible). Typical time for 0.6kWh = 20-24 hrs; 1.3kWh 40-50hrs; 4.8kWh = 7 days; 12kWh = 20 days

How long does it take to ship?

What temperature does it need to stay in?

For best results stay within 32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit. (0-40 Celsius)

How long does it take to charge with solar panels?

This will vary by product (battery size & charge controller size). For example, the Humless 12KWH unit, charging at 2KWH with 8 250w panels, will take about 12 hours to completely charge, while the Humless 1.3KWH with 2 250W solar panels will take about 10 hours to completely charge. Check each products data sheet for more details. (Charge times are under ideal sunlight conditions)
